The Cisco Catalyst 3560 Series can provide a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for deployments that incorporate Cisco IP phones, Cisco Aironet® wireless LAN (WLAN) access points, or any IEEE 802.3af-compliant end device. Taking advantage of Cisco Catalyst Intelligent Power Management, the 48-port PoE configurations can deliver the necessary power to support 24 ports at 15.4W, 48 ports at 7.7W, or any combination in between. Maximum power availability for a converged voice and data network is attainable when a Cisco Catalyst 3560 switch is combined with the Cisco RPS 2300 Redundant Power System for transparent protection against internal power supply failures and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system to safeguard against power outages.

The Linksys WebView Managed switch allows you to expand your network securely. Configuration of the switch is secured using SSL for Web access. User control is secured using 802.1x security using a RADIUS authentication mechanism and can also be controlled using MAC filtering.

The 4 priority queues together with the Weighted Round Robin and Strict Priority scheduling techniques facilitate efficient co-existence of real-time traffic with data traffic allowing them each to meet their QoS needs. Individual users or applications can be prioritized above others using various Class of Service options - by port, layer 2 priority (802.1p), and Layer 3 priority (TOS or DSCP). Intelligent Broadcast, and Multicast storm control minimizes and contain the effect of these types of traffic on regular traffic. IGMP Snooping limits bandwidth-intensive video traffic to only the requestors without flooding to all users. Incoming traffic can be policed and outgoing traffic can be shaped allowing you to control network access and traffic flow.

Cisco Catalyst 2960 compact switches are small form-factor switches designed for deployments outside the wiring closet. They have a durable metal shell, no fan for silent operation, easy wall or under-the-desk mounting, a security lock to prevent theft, and an available cable guard to secure the Ethernet cables and switch.

The Cisco Catalyst 2960-8TT-L has eight 10/100 ports with one 10/100/1000 PoE input port. This switch does not need a power supply and receives power through the uplink from an upstream PoE switch, providing deployment flexibility and availability. It is ideal for wiring and space-constraint applications. The power adaptor (PWR-A=) and power cord are optional and may be purchased separately.
